Introduction to Creative Application of the Five Elements

This one day workshop will give you an opportunity to start exploring the ancient metaphorical model of the Five Elements and hopefully get a sense of how it may enrich both your life and your therapeutic practice. The day both stands on its own but can also be a stepping stone to the comprehensive Diploma in Creative Application of the Five Elements.

Dates: Face-to-face: Saturday 5 July 2025 (TBC) from 10am to 4:30 pm with 90 minutes for lunch to allow time for a refreshing and restoring walk if you feel the urge to wander.

Location: New Forest.

Eligibility: This is open to both qualified and trainee Counsellors and Psychotherapists, Clinical and Counselling Psychologists.

Technical: To view the supporting online resources, you'll need 1) A computer (laptop, PC, Mac, Chromebook etc) or tablet and 2) To use an existing, or create a new, Google account.

Guided learning: Preparation: 4.5 hours. This includes reading about the key concepts, watching videos, reflecting, writing and practising two techniques. Debrief: 0.5 hours writing reflections on what you've learned from the workshop and your plans to integrate learning into your practise.

Workshop: Five hours involving demonstrations, paired practices and group discussions.
