Counselling and stress management in Southampton
Creative CPD for therapists
About
Some background
My interest in the human condition led to a psychology degree, training and working as a careers adviser, learning energy psychology methods including Touch for Health and EFT and eventually qualifying as a holistic and creative Gestalt counsellor. Since 2011, I've worked as a counsellor and trainer at the Olive Branch, established my private practice and at the University of Winchester have counselled students and helped to set up on-site staff counselling.
I offer counselling, strengths coaching, careers guidance, a mindful stress management method called Autogenic Therapy and run workshops training therapists to use creative methods.Â
I currently mix the above with part-time work as a careers adviser at Solent University. Having run creative counselling CPD workshops since 2017, I'm now involved in an exciting project and shall say more about this soon.
I've learned important lessons from life experiences that have brought me face to face with many aspects of my purple, blue, red and green zones. This learning, plus supervision and lots of CPD all help to ground and guide my counselling practice and professional training offer.
Why Goodwill Guidance
I call my practice this to recognise the moments of healing goodwill, of compassionate here and now awareness celebrated by many wisdom traditions, that may bring emotional freedom and guide us to make more of our time on this planet. The first healing reflection is an homage to this wonderful quality.
